Dr. Pinku Surana joins KAIO as Chief Technology Officer

We are excited to announce that Dr. Pinku Surana has joined KAIO (formerly Libre Capital) as Chief Technology Officer.

Dr. Surana is a pioneering technologist with more than three decades of experience in blockchain, distributed systems, AI, and Real-World Assets (RWAs).

Dr. Surana co-founded Ondo Finance, where he implemented protocols for tokenized assets and risk tranches of pooled crypto-securities, pioneering the modern RWAs sector. 

Dr. Surana served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs where he led research projects that applied blockchain, multiparty computation, and privacy-preserving technologies to real-world financial workflows. As Principal Architect at Symbiont.io, he designed a Byzantine Fault Tolerant blockchain and created a deterministic smart contract language for syndicated loans. Recently, Dr. Surana built large-scale Artificial Intelligence machine learning platforms at Stanford/SLAC, and model optimizations for deep neural networks at Meta. 

Dr. Surana earned his PhD in Computer Science from Northwestern University, specializing in programming languages and compiler design. He also holds multiple U.S. patents in decentralized computing and smart contract systems.

At KAIO, Dr. Surana will lead the advancement of the protocol purpose-built for Real-World Assets (RWAs), focusing on security, compliance, and composability in DeFi.
